You’ll want to create sorting signs with the following categories: keep, sell, trash, donate, fix, destroy, file, fold, hang, reduce, reuse, recycle, belongs in another
room, belongs to another person, and blank. You don’t need to make anything fancy, just write
the above categories on an 8.5” x 11” sheet of paper (one category per sheet of paper). You’ll use your sorting signs when you begin the decluttering process. For my sorting signs I used colored paper and I laminated each sign for extra durability. To keep all of the signs together, I punched a hole in each corner and added a binder ring so I wouldn’t mysteriously lose any signs. If you want to use my sorting signs, you can download and print the file in your online account.
