I just did while wrapping my nephew’s birthday gift. I never throw away the extra – seems like such a waste.

Instead, I always neatly roll up the extra paper and shove it in the middle of the roll for next time (it expands in the roll so it doesn’t fall out!). If it’s too small of a piece to roll up but still worth saving, I fold it and keep it in a shoe box in my craft closet for wrapping future small gifts!
